Untitled

Probably one of my favourite films of all time. It’s a living breathing photograph of 90’s kids; the kind you see on the bus talking orgasms at the age of fifteen; black kids drinking whiskey out of coke bottles in science class and the kinda kids that leave you wondering ‘where did that fool go?’. Young gun pussy talk and gas tank huffing blasted the pants off old timers like Roger ‘Best Pals With Russ Meyers’ Ebert, so it goes to show you that the old guard had no clue this is what would happen to the children of the sexual revolution. No rules, no responsibility, no satisfaction. Apathy and isolation. Lost in a world of cheap thrills and whirls. It reminds me of the song Paper Planes by MIA. Kids has a sonic connection with my senses. I see the movie with my eyes and inside it all makes sense. It’s chaos to be a kid these days.
