When can I participate in the promotion?

The promotion starts on 1st April 2012 and closes at midnight on 30th September 2012. All films must be watched by midnight on 30th September 2012.

How do I redeem my film?

Once you have a promotional pack follow these simple steps:

  1. Find the unique 8 letter code printed on the inside of the cardboard packaging on promotional packs
  2. Click on your preferred film from the selection of 50 titles available
  3. Enter your code in the box where indicated on hte film page, click 'Watch Now', log in, & enjoy your film

You can watch 1 film each week, you can watch each film for up to 7 days as many times as you would and you can watch up to 4 films in total during the promotion. Only open to participants in the UK, Channel Islands, the Isle of Man and the Republic of Ireland. All films must be watched by midnight on 30th September 2012.

I've entered a second code in the same week as entering another code. I got a message that I can only watch one film per week. I understand you will email me when the film becomes available to watch, how long will I have to watch my second film once you have emailed me to let me know it’s available to watch?

Yes, if you have entered 2 codes in the same week, we will email you to let you know when your second film is available to watch as you are only able to watch 1 film per week as part of the Terms & Conditions of the promotion. The email will be sent 7 days from the date you entered your previous code.

You will have 7 days to watch your second film effective from the date of the email advising you the film is available to watch (so keep an eye on your inbox). The film will be in the Available Films tab when you are signed into your account, for 7 days from the date of the email informing you that your film is ready to watch.

How old do I need to be to participate in the promotion?

All participants must be 18 years old or over to participate in the promotion.

How many films can I watch?

You can watch 1 film each week (a week is any sequential 7 day period). You can watch each film for up to 7 days, as many times as you would like, from the first day when you watched the film and you can watch up to 4 films in total during the promotion. Once you have watched 4 films you will no longer be able to participate in the promotion. All films must be watched by midnight on 30th September 2012.

I entered a code on the website in the last week of the promotion and will not have 7 days to watch my film, why?

Do I need to buy a pack to take part in the promotion?

Yes, the purchase of a pack is required to watch a film on the promotional website. Codes are printed on the inside of the cardboard packaging on all promotional packs.

A synopsis for each film can be found on the film page for each film. On the homepage simply click on your chosen film and you will be taken to that film’s page where the synopsis will be detailed.

How long is each film available to watch for?

Each film is available to watch for up to 7 days from the date when you entered your code and watched the film. All films must be watched by midnight on 30th September 2012.

How many times can I use my unique 8 letter code?

Each unique 8 letter code can only be used once.

If an attempt is made to enter the same code twice, you/or whoever enters the code for a second time will get an error message detailing it has already been entered and to try another code.

Is there a limit to how many codes I can use per week?

You can enter up to 2 codes per week; however you can only watch 1 film per week. If you enter a second code in the same week we will email you in 7 days time to let you know when your second film is available to watch.

The website isn’t accepting my code, what should I do?

Sorry you are experiencing difficulties with entering your code.

Codes can only be used once on the website. If you have entered your code onto the website incorrectly, you will see an error message on-screen. Please check your code and try again, please note codes are made up of letters only.

I can’t find my code on my promotional pack, where is it?

All promotional packs have a unique 8 letter code printed on the inside of the cardboard packaging and printed in black ink.

There isn’t a code on my pack (or the code is damaged, illegible or mis-printed), what can I do?

I have lost my code from my Stella Artois promotional pack, what can I do?

Unfortunately we cannot replace lost codes, however every Stella Artois promotional pack does carry a unique 8 letter code that can be used to redeem against a film stream on this website.

I can't see where I'm supposed to enter the promotional code on this website. Help!

You will be asked to enter your 8 letter unique code in the film page after you have selected which film you want to watch and before you click “Watch Film”

I have entered my email address and been told that my email address has already been used? Why is this?

This is because you have already set up an account with MUBI before, either online or via the Sony PS3. To use this account simply click on LOGIN and then FORGOT YOUR PASSWORD, fill in your email address and we will send you a link by email to reset your password

I can’t remember my password / username – what do I do?

On the log in screen simply click ‘Forgot my password’ and we will send you an email to reset it.

When I sign up to a MUBI account, will I receive emails from Stella Artois and MUBI?

You will only receive emails in relation to the administration of your account/the promotion, unless you have opted in to receiving more information from Stella Artois or/and MUBI when you registered your account. All personal data will be held in accordance with Stella Artois' Privacy Policy and MUBI's Privacy Policy.

I signed up for a MUBI account on the Stella Artois Film Streaming website, but now when I try to log in, it won't let me. It says my account isn't active. What do I do?

After you sign up, our system sends you an activation email to verify your address. Please open the email you received and click the link contained within to activate your account. If you didn't receive an activation email or can't find yours, you can just email support@mubi.com, and they'll be happy to correct the activation of your account.

Why do I have to activate my account by email after my first visit to the promotional website?

I'm trying to watch a film, but I'm just getting a black screen or an image that keeps skipping. What should I do?

I'm trying to watch a film, but I get a message that says "Oops! Trouble in the projection booth." What should I do?

If you get this message, please email support@mubi.com and let them know the title of the film. The support team will be along shortly to help.

If something happens and I have to quit out of the movie, can I still watch it?

Yes, absolutely. After you start a film, you'll have seven days to watch it, and within those seven days, you can watch it as many times as you like. So if, for any reason, you need to stop the film or quit out, you can just go back to your Watchlist page and click on the film that you want to watch and that is still available. You will not be asked for another promotional code. All films must be watched by midnight on 30th September 2012.

Can I change the subtitle language of a film?

Currently, the subtitles of a film are fixed by territory, so we're afraid there is actually no way to disable or switch them.

I have an iPad®, and would like to watch my movie on it. Is this possible?

Unfortunately, no. At the moment, our videos run on Flash, and iOS devices like iPads® and iPhones® don’t support Flash.

If you entered your promotional code on your iPad®, though, don't worry—it's not lost. Just visit this website, www.stellaartois.com/cinemaclubuk, from your computer, go back to the film's page, and click "Watch Film", and it should let you watch the film.
