!’ll try to keep updating this everytime a new #d page starts.
EVIF, conference calls! Now that sounds fun. Yay. Does anyone else use Skype? My username is “Allisoncm”. It might make for easier and free communication.
Also looking to the full rules for stages 2 3 and 4! Maybe I can get some of this done over my short Christmas break from work.

A hacker!? omg we are hitting the big time.
I was working on getting more homeless clips. They are adorable. There are lots of homeless people on Vine near Sunset, but I prefer the homeless in other areas. I don’t know.
I’ll have to watch all the clips again to make sure I didn’t miss any. This is exciting!
Damn honestly i’ve missed a couple of really good opportunities out in the streets. Remember y’all try and take the camera everywhere i’m going to get my hands on one the size of a tiny cell and take it into bars for some great audio. (hopefully it won’t be too much audio coming at once , which it probably will be. But sometimes we get lucky!) Thanks allison and nathan for the guide!
Oh yeah, I may have some good audio. I keep my cam in the glove compartment! What I really want to do is drive by a really bad accident and videotape it.
I’ve traced the culprit— they will be dealt with in about 10 hours.
(t kicks back and turns on some yugo black wave cinema)
i’m good for sunday (early) as well. i’m going to try to participate more in stage 2. i already have a bunch of ambient audio from a music project i’m working with. cheers, guys— this is going to be great.
oh and allison… that’s depressing and morbid. but totally awesome.
Of course I don’t want the accident to happen. But if it’s already happened. WHY THE HECK NOT? ;)
Oh and I might be good for Sunday. but I will be out in the late morning and at night too.
What exactly was this?
I apologize if I’m intruding; if I am, let the thread die. I’m just curious as to what it was, given the volume of excised material.
Matthias: OK (aka Tobias) has a great independent film website (which others here have contributed) that he has started called 05:00 project. For personal reasons, he has deleted his own often brilliant posts to this thread. He feels deeply about it, and I think we should respect his decision. As you can tell from the posts remaining here, it was a very interesting thread. Do checkout the 05:00 site at: http://www.0500.synaesthesiac.com/ I am sorry OK deleted his wonderful exposition on the hypercube origins of the 5 project, though, as I was astonished by them, and so would you have been. They may be somewhere on the website, hopefully.
This project is almost ready to open, expand and reconnect with The Auteurs late February 2009. A interactive flash website/online installation is in construction as I write. 05:00 is the first complete project created and conceived by the Garage filmmakers, The Auteur’s homegrown creative media collective.
