Still working on my list. Some questions:
Do The Last Seduction (made-for-TV movie) and The Kingdom (TV miniseries) count?

Nice to see the suggestions from others before doing a list. When using the wiki link for 1994 films, they leave off significant films or have a different release date for the year than IMDb. Any easy way to find the 1994 films besides wiki?
This year has three of my personal favorites: Sátántangó, Heavenly Creatures, and Three Colors: Red. Leaving out some of the other usual suspects like Chungking Express and Vive l’amour (both of which I am lukewarm regarding relative to other works by these directors) to give some variety and keep it to 20. Unlike many here, I am not a fan of Pulp Fiction.
A good year for film! Can’t believe I have seen so many from this year, which I would have thought so-so before doing this list.
Madness of King George
Pulp Fiction
Bullets over Broadway
Shawshank Redemption
Priscilla: Queen of the Desert
Ed Wood
Lion King
Four Weddings and a Funeral
Quiz Show

Fantastic year. Maybe the best out of the last twenty.

Somebody else listed The Corridor. I thought that was 1995, but if it counts as 1994, I vote that too.

Pulp Fiction has gotten more votes than Satantango?? What are you smoking people???
^^I haven’t seen Satantango yet Dim, regrettably. Owned the A.E dvd for almost a year now, but haven’t managed to find a spare 30 hours to watch it.
^ that doesn’t make Pulp Fiction one of that year’s best though….
