2 Disc Blu-Ray?

When the Blu-Ray release for “Breathless” was announced by Criterion, their page said that it would be a single disc release (it still does) like most of their Blu releases are.

However, I just went to pre-order it through Borders.com and it says that it’s a 2 disc release. I then checked and found that it’s also said to be a 2 disc release on Amazon.com. But still, Criterion.com has it as a single disc release.

Is this a mere oversight by Criterion… and it is in fact supposed to say on their site that this is going to be a 2 disc release? Or are Borders and Amazon mis-informed and/or confusing this release with the DVD release?

Shortly after posting this I noticed the price differences between Criterion’s 2 disc and single disc Blu-Rays. On their site this one falls into the single disc price, so that leads me to believe that Borders and Amazon are the ones who’ve gotten this one wrong.

I guess that clears that one up.

Yeah, everything else I’ve seen indicates it a single disc release.

Not that it pertains to this particular conversation, but I work for a book binding company and I always thought how it would be pretty cool to bind the books for criterion releases and just the other day I I say on one of my jobs was Jean sebergs face. At first I thought it was somebody referencing the film but it turned out that we’re finishing the book that will go into the Blu Ray release. I thought it may have some new articles or something but it doesn’t. It’s basically the same as the one that comes in the standard two disc set. As unimportant as it may seem to anyone, I thought it’s pretty cool
