2 Disc Rushmore?

I swear there once existed a Criterion 2-disc Rushmore, but i can find nothing more than obtuse references. I am delusional?

I purchased the Criterion edition of Rushmore as soon as it was released, and my edition was only one disc. I haven’t heard of a 2-disc set produced by Criterion.

Yeah, I also have the one-disc. You might just be delusional.

Is this disc out of print? Criterion says is still on print, but i cant seem to find it anywhere. I can’t buy directly from Criterion page, only trough Amazon. Help.!

Uh, what? It’s in stock from Criterion.com. Most other places don’t have it.

I know i know. I’m just saying if the nonavailability in Amazon is for good, or it will be on sale on that retailer again. Because Criterion doesn’t ship to the country where I am right now. Thanks!

yeah I’ve only seen 1-disc versions
something that stumped me though is the dvd for Traffic
the format of the discs I have is different than other ones I’ve seen, they over lap, but I’ve seen some that are in the double layer format like the naked lunch

see mines like this

and Ive seen some like this

Rushmore is still in print. Buena Vista which owns the movie are the only ones that can reprint any new copies and they’re just lazy in doing so that’s why quanitities may be ‘limited’ and why it seems to be ‘out of print’

Criterion was only one disc, ever. For sure.

Perhaps you’re thinking of the Royal Tenenbaums, which is a 2-discer, and with not dissimilar cover art?

Rushmore is back on Amazon, to those still interested
