We went from a match to where a country had the biggest change in percentage of vote between it’s first two matches-

Sweden had 16.67% in it’s first match at 100.00% in it’s second match.

To a match where a country had the smallest change-

Portugal had both 60.00% in both of it’s matches

Can someone give me a link to Countryman

dont want to vote but want to see Jamacia entry

Risselada

-moderator-

It’s eliminated so it won’t even be competing. I won’t be soliciting for anyone to submit any links, but since kuxa was the one who submitted it you may want to PM him since everyone who submitted had to make a statment assuring that the film was available to watch in some way.

didn’t Jamaica win this week why eliminated?

Risselada

-moderator-

It didn’t win by a very high percentage of votes, and in it’s first match it got a very low percentage of votes so this still averaged out to a low percentage of votes.

Here’s the current standings:

Phew, 2 brilliant films which i’ve previously championed on mubi, against each other. Terrible to have to vote against either, even more so than the Wales v Belgium match. But at least this is a chance for them both to get time in the limelight- don’t miss this match, folks, it’s a cracker. The Pearl should appeal to lovers of silent surrealism and sexy stockings (count me in), Gamperaliya to fans of Satyajit Ray- it’s a mature elegant drama

That’s funny kenji, because I believe it was because of your appreciation of The Pearl, I watched it, loved it and submitted it. So it’s great to be right up there with you.

Undeniably, there are superb films on deck, but it’s sad that we can’t see the ones scheduled to compete by countries which are now eliminated. I want it all.

Risselada

The point of posting those ones eliminated is to try to still give them exposure so people might to see them later. If you don’t have access to see them maybe when it’s all over we can see about getting you access to the ones that were suggested but didn’t compete that you want to see. I’ll be posting everyone’s lists they submitted at that point too so there will be probably a lot of films you are interested in.
