@LILY : It has been taken care of – links to the film have been posted on the blog . It’s now available through torrents and direct download and it’s on rapidshare as well . So, no worries .

^ stavrogin….is it on youtube? experience of past cups has proven that a film not being on youtube dramatically affects voter participation – if we can get it on youtube, that’ll be a big plus. (though if lily had chosen stone wedding it wouldn’t be a problem as it’s already up cough cough)

I converted it from .avi to .flv file for uploading expediency and fear some quality may have been lost. I am new at this and still fine tuning my celestial skills. I have asked riss for guidance as to the best uploader accelerator but I think the lazy sod must be still asleep. He will find at least five messages from me and no doubt a stack from others when he staggers back to his computer.

I found those links from FileFactory last night and put them on the blog without actually looking at them. I tried to download them over night. One set you have to be a premium user to download. The other direct download isn’t hardsubbed. I haven’t looked at the BitTorrent yet. But the wonderful meg has uploaded the film to YouTube and now it’s available!

I’m going to need some help from other MUBI users regarding the World Cup. This thread will be where I will post whenever I need some help. Please also post here if you think you can offer help so I know who to contact.
The main thing I’m going to need help with is getting films uploaded so that everyone can watch them. I would like to get streaming video links available for all of the films if possible. I need people to either find current streaming video sources for the films as I announce them, or else I need people to personally offer to upload some to YouTube or Vimeo or other such sites that everyone can access. Direct download or Bittorrent links are even better because the quality is usually better, but not everyone is comfortable using those so I’d like to have streaming videos available as well.
DO NOT POST THE LINKS TO THE VIDEOS HERE. If you have any links you can PM me the link. I will post the links to a separate blog off MUBI. If you want access to the blog, you will also have to PM me a requst.
Please use this thread to coordinate who will be offering to upload different films so that two people aren’t working on the same film at once.
I may also need some help occasionally posting matches or ending the matches. Let me know if you would like to ever help with that.
