Village People Radio Show is working here in Indonesia.
This is all good to know. People in the US hold tight or find somewhere else to download it. I should have it up on Vimeo, but it might not be up completely for another week or so because of the upload limit for free account.
Village People Radio Show now on Vimeo
It looks like Beekeeper gets rejected by YouTube too. Might be another one for Vimeo.
Very excited to see that my submission of Extraordinary Stories made it into the cup!! I’m aware of at least one place the film can be found (Karagarga). Would someone be able to help me look into streaming the film somehow?
EDIT: Ah, I now see I wasn’t the only one to submit it, so I’m not alone in needing to make it available. Do my fellow submitters have a plan already?
it’s already on yt, adam!
Ah yes it is, I found it. Thank you magpies.
A little question for the pro in video. I have movies in .avi for the cup and I have the subtitles in .srt. How can I burn the subtitles in the movie to make it only one file to upload? I am on MAC and use manly VLC. What’s the easiest way?
Boss! This is why people are supposed to check such things before posting on the forum! You think a moderator would know this…
Damn moderators always screwing things up.
Ok after getting out of lazinness and search a bit more than 5 minutes; for 9$ (or if you can find a serial), you have the app Submerge, that works perfectly and takes 2 minutes to merge sub in the movie. You can even chose the design!
Avidemux is free and works too. It might not be as simple though.
Stupid blogger and Google purposly making their stuff not work well on other browsers other than Chrome….. Sorry, having difficulties updating the blog right now
Well, yeah,I definetely can’t upload The Beekeeper on yt,but I’ll try Vimeo,if no one else hasn’t so far.
Beekeeper has already been uploaded
Oh,that’s nice.Is it on Vimeo? Can you please send me a PM with a link??
A better version of Tree of Knowledge has been posted to the blog. With better subs I assume, right Meg?
Yes much! It’s worth watching again for anyone who saw the other version
Don’t anyone worry about Singapore GaGa. It’s hard to find, but daffy sent me a copy of the file he ripped from a DVD he has that I’ll be putting up on streaming soon.
^ yay. because it sounds wonderful. can’t wait!
I was going to offer a copy Singapore GaGa too, glad it’s been worked out.
Herbie, you can feel free to do it if you have time soon. I didn’t think anyone else out there had it. I can get to it but it might not be right away.
I can’t get to it “right away” but could definitely sometime by the end of the weekend.
OK, I’ll let you know if I can get to it sooner than that.
It looks like Stavrogin will be leaving us and will be much missed!
If anyone else would like to make an intro thread for The Corporal and Others, please feel free.
well sorry to hear that, he’s put up so many films too!
Got dvd with soft subs. If someone can shoot me a primer on how to rip it and upload to youtube in best quality possible, it would be greatly appreciated.
Did you get a response yet Jerry? I know how to upload to YouTube, but ripping from DVDs is not really my expertise… I usually just grab the raw file right off the disk, but that doesn’t always work. And then as for the subtitles, I’m not sure how to rip those. I’m sure those are already online somewhere though.
