riss the link for pictures of the old world is down due to a copyright claim by slovak film institute. i shall try the rapidshare links
Ah. Can anyone else upload it? Maybe we need to put it on Vimeo
the rapidshare links did work but took about 6 hours so just a warning
those links only took 40 mins for me Ruby is that because of RS premium maybe – uploading this to vimeo my first so maybe will be stuff up, see how i go!
Can someone put up Castaway On The Moon?
And maybe A Tree in Tanjung Malim as well?
Castaway on the Moon is on instant netflix but i’ll see if i can torrent it and get it up somewhere soon.
Thanks. That match is starting today. And I don’t have time to get it up before the match starts.
In fact, I won’t even be around to close the current match and post the new one. I’m going to PM Ruby to see if she can do it.
Unless you want to do it Brentos… or anyone else.
I just realized Ruby had already sent me the link for Castaway on the Moon. Thanks!
De Sica’s Shoeshine is available on Netflix instant until August 8th.
Could anyone upload any of these?
Iceland – Cold Fever (Friðrik Þór Friðriksson) (1995)
Iran – Leila (Dariush Mehrjui) (1996)
New Zealand – In My Father’s Den (Brad McGann) (2004)
Japan – Silence Has No Wings (Kazuo Kuroki) (1966)
Wales – The Other Side of the Underneath (Jane Arden) (1972)
Czech Republic (Czechoslovakia) – Return of the Prodigal Son (Evald Schorm) (1967)
For those with Netflix, Leila is streaming.
Meg, Ruby, and anyone else, let me know what you are working on.
We’ve got “Come Back, Sebastiana” on Facebook, but we could probably use a higher quality one if anyone.
I’m going to try to help this evening and tomorrow but don’t want to step on anyone’s toes
i’m not doing anything but i will be able to this coming week. i have no experience so i’ll need to make a trial run. maybe i’ll try come back sebastiana
edit: scratch that, i see no sign of it on the tracker. if u know where i can find it show me. looked up a couple of others but nada. this is gonna be harder than i thought. i await further instructions
That’s ok Ruby. You pick whatever film you’d like. Just let me know and I’ll walk you through it. Thanks!
k riss i’ve found eden and after so i will cover that one first and see how it goes
Big thanks to the angelic selfless uploaders and workers.
Come back, Sebastiana – streaming free with english subtitles.
thanks rosetta stanton!
i’ma watch it right now. hey we have the same initials xD
riss i’ll check tonight to see what u guys have uploaded so i can try to do one as a test
OK Prodigal Son should be up soooon and Ruby is doing When I Am Dead and Gone
These are the next ones that need ferreting out if anyone has access or ideas on where they can be viewed
Philippines – Sewer (Sherad Anthony Sanchez) (2008)
Uruguay – Hiroshima (Pablo Stoll) (2009)
Tunisia – A Summer in La Goulette (Férid Boughedir) (1996)
having a bit of a problem with la goulette, there is a copy on youtube but it is in french. does anyone know if it’s possible to add subs to existing copy? otherwise i’m at a dead end
I’ll look into it
there’s a light in the tunnel riss. i may have it up by tmrw if all goes well
When I encounter this, I find the subs at opensubtitles.org (they have Un été à La Goulette) and download the movie from youtube and watch it on VLC Player or Zoom Player, then dump it.
This is effectively the same as watching it on youtube.
I dunno about the morals.
i believe a solution has presented itself, thanks :)
Fully intend to keep uploading – might do Hiroshima now if no one else is (EDIT except I can’t find it anywhere:(
I didn’t know you could do that Linden, interesting….!
yes i had heard that and was considering it. might be useful at some point
When Aprusansar first submitted Hiroshima he indicated there was some website he was using that was down and then came up again that had Hiroshima on it. He didn’t specify what website though. I’ve asked him for links a couple of times but he still has not responded. It’s not on SMz or KG, so I’m not sure which other site he was talking about. Does anyone else know where we can get this?
If I don’t hear back soon I’m going to have to put a new film in for Uruguay, which I really don’t want to have to do.
Risselada
Thank you Kai.
I already have a plan for doing a cup next year which I think will be the opposite of the ideology behind this one in certain ways. Hopefully it will have a lot more discussion and competition. But you never know.
