+2 La Jetee

Nothing left that I actively dislike, just a few that I don’t quite consider to be great.

Good job, everyone, saving The Mirror, but my vote only brings it up to 10 and it’s under relentless assault so it’ll probably still need two more +2s to keep it safe this round and we’re entering the final stretch.
DiB, forget what I said about losing the universal -1 every round at 50 films. It helps weed out the films very few people have seen that very few people are voting up.
I’m liking how the top 20 is shaping up. The remaining 76 are still to dour and serious with too few comedies, but the quality on the whole is pretty good.
+ 2 The Mirror (Tarkovsky)
- 1 Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors
- 1 Man Without a Past
Harakiri +2
L’Eclisse -1
La Jetee -1
The Mirror (Tarkovsky) +2

My Night at Maud’s -1
Thanks for keeping Wanda on to the top 100. Farewell.
People need to start saving ‘La Jetee’. It would be a crime against cinema for it not to finish in the top 20.
Also, I wonder if all the current love for ‘Hara-kiri’ has anything to do with the recent Masters of Cinema release, as it’s actually one of Kobayashi’s minor works.
Jeanne Dielman, 23 Quai du Commerce, 1080 Bruxelles +2
Edvard Munch – 1
Insiang -1
Heartbeat Detector (aka The Human Question) + 2
My Night at Maud’s – 1
Celine and Julie Go Boating – 1
+2 Fanny and Alexander

It’s not realistic, people (including me) prefer Sans Soleil and no chances to see 2 films by the same director in the final top.
+2 The Age of the Earth
-1 Men on the Mountain
-1 The Green Ray
sad to see Wanda go..
Lucky Star (Borzage) +2
Pastoral: To Die in the Country -1

Kudos, Fellaheen and Vlietronium!
The Green Ray +2
La Cienaga -1
Ride Lonesome -1
+2 La cienaga
-1 A Canterbury Tale
I’ve only seen three of the films that are left :(
What happened with Out of the Past? Seems like at the beginning of Round 62, it should have had 9 points (started with 15 in Round 61, and had 8 negative votes and 1 positive vote). Did it just get randomly dropped? I did just “Control F” to look for the votes so its possible that I missed one if it was incorrectly spelled.
Anyways…
3 Women +2
+2 – The Cloud-Capped Star
-1 – Harakiri
-1 – Pandora’s Box
Once upon a Time there was a Singing Blackbird +
The Mother and The Whore -
Pastoral: To Die in the Country -
I’m not quite sure what to vote up here. I thought The Browning Version was doing okay – yesterday it was at a heathy 8 points, and with both myself and Oxymoron giving it 2 points yesterday I thought it was headed for the top 50, then lo and behold today it’s gone! Is it worth voting for Charulata which is also on 8 points? And what about poor L’Eclisse? Looks like it’s not long for this game. Oh to hell with it…
Charulata +2
Les Vampires -1
The Travelling Players -1
Varun Anisetty
Chimes At Midnight +2
The Travelling Players -1
My Night at Maud’s -1
