I saw it in theaters and thought it was a great film, I’ll be picking it up sometime this week
I got an email from criterion about it today. i’ll have to check it out.
Oh, it’s an awesome film!
It’s hard to even describe but I’ll leave this comment from the director:
“I make a film that will be seen and appreciated by the thousand of people I probably hate the most. I want to make a film in truly bad taste!” – Marco Ferreri
Funny, my name is John Dillinger. I got the same email and will be getting this one.
I bought it today, I can’t wait to watch it… So far, the actual dvd design and the booklet are gorgeous.
apparently its never been released on home video in any form before prior to this criterion release, which only makes me begin to speculate on what undiscovered treasures are out there yet to be revealed. The canon must inexhaustible.
I first saw it at the Museum of Modern Art back in 1970.
It’s WAY strange — even for Marco Ferreri.
Short on plot it feaures Michel Piccoli ccoking dinner, cleaning his gun, screwing the maid (Annie Girardot) and confronting his wife (Anita Pallenberg!)
I really don’t want to say any more. Just SEE it.
which one is more f***ed up, Dillinger or La Grande Bouffe
Charlesdegaulle
It has just been released on criterion, and it seems interesting. I had never heard of it before.
