It seems people in any region that’s not the US don’t have access to it. At least Canada is excluded, although I’m not sure what the status is with other countries. If you’re in Canada there’s a thread in here that’s the equivalent of a petition.
I see … I’m actually in Hong Kong, so I suppose I wouldn’t get it either. Ah, well, I guess I’ll have to wait … of course, there are ways to circumvent geographical blocking with proxies/VPN/etc., but we shouldn’t be doing that, should we? ;)
well I’m in argentina and I can watch them, I reckon you tries library right? that’s where the few movies you can watch are…
(I tell you because aregentina is a country that would be excluded for sure, I can’t believe they take out canada and leave arg in, right?)
I can see a handful of movies, but not the ones in the “Festival” section …
I’m in the USA and I can only watch a handful of movies, too, including the “Festival” section, so don’t feel bad. =)
hey, how often do the pictures avaliable to watch for free change?
They say every month, but I don’t know if that means at the beginning of each month (because if it did, there’d be new ones up today)…
Hi Kumar—the answer other people have given is correct: the site determines where you are logging in from and shows you only the film available for you to watch in that territory. It is not linked to your account but rather where you are using your computer—so, say, if you travel to France, you can watch French movies on the site, but no longer watch movies from Hong Kong.
We will be adding more films in the Festival section soon, so stay tuned!
Well thank you very much daniel, you’ve been most helpful.
Thanks for the reply! Hopefully you guys will be allowed to show all the movies internationally soon…
I’d love to be able to watch all, but currently in Serbia I can only watch movies from Japan and Argentina, it seems… strange selection criteria ;)
when is the new batch comming? any one know?
Kumar
At the “Festival” section of the website, the description states: “Previously unavailable, The Auteurs present a selection of films that are available to watch the world over for free.”
However, I don’t seem to be able to view the films. Am I missing something?
