Randyman, are you kidding? 53? 10 short years between us. Let’s get married tomorrow.
Since Randyman has kindly taken on the title of Village Elder, I will admit to being 50. A young 50, as in, just a few weeks ago.
Well, I can’t marry you both. Work it out amongst yourselves and get back to me.
I’m revising my age: I’m heading towards 200. Or so it feels, this evening.
16, failing my AP classes in high school. college after this… joy!
25. Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, never took a single business class in my life, and now I’m a licensed stockbroker.
17 – Freshman in college. Taken one film class.
25 — MA in Cinema Studies but forever a student of film! Who needs degrees, just watch movies.
28, Italian, started in Theatre/Performance as a director and dramaturge, BA English & Theatre, MA Text & Performance, PhD Film.
Zac Zellers, AP classes are bullshit, but make sure you do well on the test. I didn’t do so hot in the classes, but got enough credits from the tests to skip a year of college. I’m still going to take my precious time getting my undergrad degrees.
16, stil in high school. plan on goin to the Navy to do photography then have the government pay for film school if i can get in one
34 | BA in English Writing and Film Studies
working on MFA in non-fiction writing
I am a kindergarten drop-out – seriously! I hated it, and wouldn’t go back (it wasn’t compulsory). I did manage to eventually squeeze in a year or two of college, changing majors from physics to poli sci, and everything else, every five minutes. Couldn’t make up my mind, so spent the rest of my life under-achieving. I should have stayed a kindergarten drop-out. Oh, but I do have a BA in BS.
thanks Gerhard; indeed, I realized that I don’t really have to go to school, as I long as I continue to ace my tests and quizzes and feel like I’m learning. The plan is to pass through the basic first year courses in college by getting a 4 or 5 on the AP tests. I’ll probably go to an art school though anyway. Public education is kind of flawed with the whole homework thing; it’s designed for people that don’t want to learn. The people that want their As will lose all their integrity to get their A; and the people that genuinely enjoy learning but are also lazy or busy with other passions are left with bad grades. I feel like Max Fischer from Rushmore sometimes.
aged 21, some college (no classes, presently) no degree.
30 fucking years old:) WOO HOO:)
Aged 36, B.F.A Cinema Studies & Sociology, Post Graduate Diploma in Film Studies
I’m a couple weeks shy of 30 and have a BA in English, currently working a loathsome desk job nowhere near my field.
I’m 19, Mexican, and studying journalism. Seems like I’m the only one (or one of a few) whose career has little to do with cinema.
31, some college but could never decide what the hell I wanted to do most. My various majors included: philosophy, photography, communications, education, psychology and environmental stuff. My sign is Cancer, I enjoy long walks on the beach, prefer brunettes and my favorite animal has always been the penguin.
15, still in high school.
20, studying English and Literature and all that nonsense…
36, BA in Communication Studies. Nowadays, I’m working in marketing for a financial firm…
20 years old. Went to the University of Oregon for my first two years in college (took film studies courses, that I felt were highly inadequate). Just decided this year to transfer to the Art Institute of Portland pursuing a degree in Digital Film and Video.
Been doing film and video production for about 7 years now ever since I got my first Super8. Entered a few film festivals, some that I’ve won and I’m currently in the process of writing another piece. Hoping to build up a strong portfolio in film school and pursue a career in the film industry.
25, J.D.
15. In high school.
I feel like such a whippersnapper.
I’m 14 (As of a week and a day ago), which makes me a junior high student.
Old enough and not enough. (Though, I’d had enough.)
31, with a BFA in Film Studies from Calvin College.
I am a sophomore at the University of Kansas and I am earning a triple major in philosophy, humanities, and political science.
Tommy
22 – Was an Art history major, and now a film school drop out. May go back eventually, but I don’t know. I was tired of people putting each other down because of what films the like and that’s all it was.
