Oh. Are you referring to “Tusk” and “The Rainbow Thief?”
Except those two films, the others are great.
Tusk and The Rainbow thief are not really his films, I mean he directed them but that was only because they paid him to do the job, so he couldn´t do what he wanted to.
I was bummed to see that my favorite of his films (and one of my favorite films, period), Santa Sangre, isn’t even listed in the “library” here. It’s a beautiful-but-disturbing cornucopia of genres, from horror to romantic fantasy, and no less gorgeous to look at. I hope Criterion get their hands on it eventually.
Mick Jagger, Orson Welles, Salvador Dali. Forget Ambersons. Jodorowsky’s Dune is the great tragedy of the cinema.
I cannot imagine how great woud have been that film if Jodorowsky would´ve made it!!!
You forgot to mention the music of Pink Floyd.
Santa Sange is really good film. For me the greatest moment in his films is at the end of Holy Mountain: “…zoom back camera…” Awesome!!!
yes santa sangre is great! Also loved fando y lis “que bonito es un entierro!”
i’ve only seen 2 of his movies, el topo and the holy mountain, both terrible. no desire to see anything else by this “master”

Jodorowsky´s films are the best. Very spiritual!!!
You need to watch his films more than once to see the beauty on them.
What do you think about him??
