When my co- worker was showing The Birds in his class a few years ago, he gave a brief introduction before playing it, including listing some of Hitch’s films. Then a student asked : Who made this film?? Annie Hitchcock??
So, while I’m sure this song you’re referring isn’t helping, maybe it’s not hurting so much either lol.
Lol when I saw this thread title I thought maybe they discovered his birth certificate or something and that he was actually named Albert.
I live only a few miles from where Pitbull was kicked out of his foster parents’ house for being a drug dealer! :)
You have to wonder what he calls Kubrick. Maybe Ernest Kubrick. Or Theodore Kubrick.
Probably Stanford Kubrick, cause of the “S”. hehe
I’m very glad that I have no idea what this means.
His wife’s name also started with AL.
I’m sure Albert appreciates the free publicity.
Who is this Pitbull? A rapster?
@ CAPTAIN
Just another one of the many brainless and talentless out on the airwaves today that have more influence on my current generation than poor old Hitchcock himself probably.
On a more optimistic note, I saw his early talkie Murder! the other day and found it a very fine demonstration of his use of sound. Such great emphasis even on the littlest of details that is usually overlooked in today’s productions, sadly – sounds aren’t used all too creatively anymore so they hardly draw interest as most seem to emphasize only on the heard and expected noises to be emanated on screen.
Alfred Einstein…

I’ve been trying to watch more Warren Herzog films.
You guys should check out Yolanda Ozu. She’s a great expositor of the Australian family breakdown in the 1980s.

Ever since that Pitbull song came out, he’s been renamed.
