Ali g, Borat or Bruno.

Borat trumps the other two.

This question is tricky.

If you look at the feature films based on each character, Ali G is nowhere even close to Bruno or Borat. “Ali G: Inadahouse” was so bad that I’m surprised they decided to release it at all. A straight fiction film could never work for any of these characters. As for the movies, Borat is the king. Bruno is funny, no doubt, but it lacks something of the cross cultural silliness that appealed to me in Borat.

Now, if you’re talking about the Ali G Show, it’s almost a toss-up between Ali G and Borat. Bruno loses out here, because he’s simply not featured as much, and due to the constraints of television, he’s not able to get away with so much. Ali G roundtable discussions are priceless. I cant get enough of the Ali G ice cream glove and Ali G’s attempt to try out at a police academy. He also manages to get some amazing interviews with Sam Donaldson, Andy Rooney, and Newt Gingrich among others. While Borat, on the show, is his usual hilarious self.

Ultimately, in his prime, I don’t think any character is funnier than Ali G. It’s hard to say that, because the other creations are almost as funny.

West Staines massiv!!

Ali G. interviews the Catholic priest- most uncomfortable.

Borat singing “Throw The Jew Down The Well”, and all the ingrate bigots singing along, in a bar in some redneck shithole was pretty damn hilarious.

In my opinion, Ali G, Borat, and Bruno = Dumb, Dumber, and Dumbest.

I’m not sure they are all the same. If Ali G met Bruno would they get on? Doubt it.

Borat is an attack on racism and xenophobia. Bruno an attack on homophobia. Ali G, well Ali G’s wicked man, innit!
