Anybody want to donate some films out of the kindness of their heart to a poor college student?

Not really any explanation needed here.

If I could I would, seriously, I’ve been there, I guess I’m still there …but I’m South America…
There’s a topic here about piracy, and a lot people were in it, including me…
One guy asks for kindness and is totally ignored or gets the finger…
and then they say… why! oh why! oh lord! you allow such a thing as the black market to exists… oh the humanity!
so, look for free movies on the web or look for them in the black market… and share them. Always share, spread the love for movies…

I totally understand. This post was more of a joke, but I thought you never know—there might be someone out there who for some reason is getting rid of some films. Doubtful though on this sight haha.

can’t you just pirate them like every other college student?

Posting in Epic Thread.

If you give me your name, mailing address, social security number, credit card numbers, and all other relevant information, I shall be more than willing to give you any and all of my spare films.

Dear poor college student,

Please check your local library (even the one that is on your campus). I think you’d be surprised at what a cost-free and useful resource this archaic and mysterious building is.
Best of luck.

Signed,

A former poor college student that used the public library to feed his need for film.

Brett, are you learning to make films or are you learning film theory?

I have a ton of Region 4 DVDs that I can’t watch. I got them for free — or rather, as payment for writing some liner notes for an Australian company. If you have access to an all-region dvd player, you could have them.

You can watch them on your PC. Just download a region-free player.

I’m actually a spanish major, but I just love film. I honestly don’t have any problems finding films to watch (between netflix and the internet there’s plenty), just trying to build up my dvd collection. As for my dvd player, I’m not sure if it’s all-region or not, but I’ll be sure to find out.

I have some Region 2 (U.K) dvds you might want- send me your address details to my page and you’ll get some circular discs of joy. I might have some region 1 and region 0 (all regions) dvds for your viewing pleasure. As an act of kindness, they’ll be sent post free. Everyone has to start a collection somewhere and the rest of us Cinephiles should always lend a hand to a fellow film buff in need.
