Einstein is a scientist. Maybe a certain majority agrees with HIS definition but I personally don’t give a rat’s ass what scientists think about Art.

I don’t think Einstein was referring to art when he said nothing can be created but rather to matter. IPV was making a loose analogy of sorts.

this is just wierd. Art is a painting, drawing, or sculpture.

Of course this is not a new idea, but I think one thing, at least, that draws us to art, is the very fact that you can’t nail down the parameters that define it. If you could, then it would merely be classified as widgets. I think this discussion though, which I’m sure has existed for ages, is a valuable one as it continues to point us to something unquantifiable, outside of ourselves.

I consider it more to do with craftwork. Not into the concept of “artists” today.
