mine’s about a drug bust.

Whatever it’s about, it should be called Autobiographical Film of an Ass Wipe

that sounds like it would make for a more interesting film.

By presenting the film as half fictional, you are loosening your grip on the actor. He is able to reveal himself behind this fictional character. This is clever, this makes his performance so believable, while at the same time, it doesn’t seem embellish anything for dramatic effect. It’s a purge piece of a man who can’t communicate this stuff to his friends, who can’t wrap their minds around what he’s doing. He can’t communicate to this girl because of how indecisive and inconsistent she is. His only salvation is communicating with total strangers.

There is no “Break-up” in this film, Rich. There was no relationship, only relations. This is what drives the main character nuts. His confession being that he allowed this situation to happen.
