You’re actually making an effort to poke continuity holes in Back To The Future?
There are a zillion. Ok? When old Biff goes back into 1955 to give himself the Almanac, then comes back to 2015, why does he go back into the original future instead of the changed future? Those films have worse internal continuity than a time travel episode of Star Trek. Nobody cares, because they are fun adventure films.
^^^although some fans claim there are barely any errors and say the perceived errors are a result of misunderstanding.
I believe the term is ‘Fanboys’. Fans don’t care about any errors because the movie is fun.
If you can explain all the logical errors, you need to use the series’ plot contrivances to do it.
1) Marty changes the future so he doesn’t exist, and instead of just vanishing, takes a week to disappear.
1a) However, if he does disappear, anything he did before he disappeared still affects the future, despite never existing.
2) Changes to the past or future have no effect on the characters’ memory, so long as they were not in a timeline when it changed.
3) The clock stopped at 10:04. …They somehow know the exact second within this minute the lightning hit.
4) Having the almanac significantly changed the future, yet every result is still correct.
I, being a fan, do not care about these issues, because the movie is fun. I, not being a fanboy, do not try to explain them away or excuse them.
This is by-far THE best overcaffeinated post in all of mubi-land.

Marty axes THE DOC if “WHO THE HELL IS CLARA?” while reading the Letter which, Marty received in Back to the Future Part 2 in 1955. What’s weird is that, Marty hasn’t been to 1885 yet. And yet, in the letter The Doc clearly knows who Clara Clayton is. Even on his tombstone, Marty in response to it sez something like, “Who the Hell is Clara?” Oh! Wait. The letter doesn’t have any information at all about Clara. The Gravestone is the hint. Well then! The gravestone fucking implies that, as I! Witness, me being an audience that at the beginning and/or end, depending thee! The start of Back 3 or the End of Future 2… Either or TO-THE films clearly see that Marty has not been to 1885 yet! This is not 12 monkeys! ILL explain more about what I mean by that later. So. So so so so. Here’s the shit. When Marty finally does enter 1885 in the near beginning but not thee beginning… like, a half hour in or maybe 15 minutes in, Marty gets to 1885(that might be considered the beginning) anyfuckingway… And again, to easily clarify… this is the first time; Ever! That marty hath entered 1885. We now see him do this. Marty warns The Doc that he, The Doc will die! In about a week. So. They have to get The Doc, and of course Marty to back to the future part 4! Ha ha. Sadly they cant do this. But. It is possible that they could all get back to 1985. They succeed in this. But! What I don’t understand is how The Doc ever met Clara without the help of Marty. Clearly The Doc baffled by the name of “the Shonash Ravine” … “some ol Injyn Rave” or whatever The Doc sez, I dont think anyone would of, could of heard him mumble that bubble babble. Not until the 17-viewing-TH. When she, the character, introduces herself to Marty and The Doc as Clara Clayton, I, and, I remember in the 80s or early 90s… I recall… yes yes yes… When other people heard her say this name, she, Clara… Calling herself this… back when I actually say this in the theater way back, that! I must add… to all the folks who saw the live action film of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles at Bala Theater in 89, wow, that probably WAS THE SOCIAL EVENT OF THE SEASON… (Side Note: Other Bala Social Events Include: Angus, Fahrenheit 911, The Mask and American Psycho) … anyway back to Clara Clayton… everyone thawt in the theater that she was some actual historical figure… some sort of, lets google the name! nah… she only comes up in the wikiworld of that which TO-THE-3 but… I dont know… I doubt any of us heard about The Doc and the Shonash Ravine… Now. Around this time Marty and The Doc are trying to get back to 1985 and well, That area of the Ravine… where Hilldale will Ventually be created… well… It is at this point that we hear Clara Clayton scream… If Marty had been in 1885 at that moment, The Doc would not have been at The Shonash Ravine at that time… Well? Then how did The Doc meet Clara? Could the actual appearance of Doc have actually caused the change in history? And also, the appearance of Marty and The Doc, which, since we usually on see the point of Marty’s View… we only get to see that reality. But there must have been two. Realities The other. Wheel never know. When The Doc was in 1885 without Marty, he wrote Marty a letter that we never The Doc due… that he receives at the end of TO THE 2… The other reality might be THIS… The Doc writes the letter to Marty… while going off to Mail it… he sees Clara Clayton’s horses in a spook. Well. My other question has no answer. That. At the moment in TO-THE-3 when Marty ejaculates into 1885 from 1955… he clearly has a time machine… and… we see that Time Machine get speared by an Injyn’s arrow… But! My question is… Where the hell is The Doc’s time machine? The paradoxical one that The Doc hides for Marty to find in 1955, in essence, that very time machine remade… Is there a rule in the space time continuum? Can there be no two things in the same plane? Are these real things? I think in a way. That, Peer of Realm in Science; of the Hawking type… looks he looks at THE-To-THE Trilogy as SFpornography. My last line in this will be a question: How the fuck do you make a timetraveling Hovertrain out of a hoverboard that dont travel thru time. Da Fuck?
