Am I the only one who thinks Hail to the Thief is Radiohead’s best album?
For now and at this moment, anyway…

2. “Love and Theft”, Bob Dylan
3. Greetings from Michigan: The Great Lakes State, Sufjan Stevens
4. A Thousand Leaves/Sonic Nurse, onic Youth

10. Neon Bible, Arcade Fire
“Am I the only one who thinks Hail to the Thief is Radiohead’s best album?’
Yes.
No to every single album on the original list besides Funeral.
Since you have such a distaste for those albums, Crobley, why don’t you give us two things:
1. A substitute list.
2. Some in-depth criticisms of every single album other than Funeral. I assume someone who would make a statement like that would have heard every single album on that list. So, they would actually know what they’re talking about instead of just talking out of their ass because someone else listens to music they’ve never even heard of… yes, I seriously doubt you’re doing that Crobley. So, I’d love to hear your criticisms of every single album on that list (other than Funeral, of course).
Ahh, I saw this one coming.
Well, I’ll get started, I’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
What do you want first, the criticisms or the substitute?
Criticisms probably.
You’ve actually heard every single album on there?
Well, I’ll get started
He’s going to go listen to all of the albums! :D
Of course not, maybe half, I’m just a stubborn asshole who thinks their opinion is the best. I’m working on my Don Caballero criticism now.
I’ve never written out an in depth criticism of music before…I’m not quite sure what to say.
So, you said no to every album when you have only heard, “…maybe half…?”
Nevermind. Forget the criticisms, and alternate list. It’s what I suspected, please actually know what you’re talking about before criticizing something as personal as someone’s taste in music. It’s pretty offensive, and extremely arrogant. Although, I’d still like to hear even a coherent criticism of Don Caballero (the greatest band to ever live).
Check out my profile for semi-in-depth reviews of specific bands.
I know it is. I do want to do the criticisms but I’m not sure how to articulate my feelings on some of these albums.
I am listening to American Don. Not bad, it’s alright, but the first thought that comes to mind is ‘another basic instrumental band’. I don’t really feel any meaning to these songs, not to say there isn’t one. Upon first listening to it, it sounds like people just playing music to play. Even though I do not understand the meanings of any of these songs yet, I don’t sense anything special.
I took a shot at it, not great but I tried.
Richard: Bone Machine’s from 1992. =) Great album, though.
Green Day, you guys? =/

The Crane Wife- The Decemberists
