I never really liked that film. I’m pretty sure that it’s one of the biggest moneymakers of all time though.
Eddie Murphy was a funny dude back then and Beverly Hills Cop was a good showcase for that. Its not as good as 48 Hours, Trading Places or his stand up concerts, but its not bad either.
I saw this when I was 5, I think. I don’t really remember much about it.
No, actually, that must have been a sequel, if this is 25 years old.

The sequels were awful!
Well, I was 5, so I probably liked it.
and number 4 is apparently on the way :(
number 4 could be watchable as long as ratner does not do it and it is rated R
