There should be not-so-popular multi-region brand in your local market. Particularly the ones that are made in China :)
Most blu-ray players offer the exact same visual performance, it’s just a matter of picking one that suits your needs. Do you need extra support for MKV? Do you want Netflix streaming? Do you need Skype or smart apps? Does it to be 3D?
Make sure that it has wi-fi built in — you don’t want to have to spend extra money on an adapter.
in order to play foreign blu rays does it just need to be region free or will it need to have a pal/ntsc conversion as a DVD player would?
