So supposed to be A, B, and C – But lately a lot of my blu rays have a symbol of the world with a 1 or 2. So 1 is US/Japan and 2 is Europe – right?? Except I picked up a couple blu rays stated ‘1’ which played on my european ps3!!!
And how come it’s so difficult to find out if a blu-ray – especially the more unusual titles – is region locked. I’m guessing the studios want to make it more difficult for people to import – but then why don’t they just region lock it and say so if that’s the case. DVDs had a much clearer system so why not blu ray?
I’m guessing that quite a few people on this site have a multi-region blu ray player and while they are becoming more wildly available they are still quite difficult to find.
