This Barnes & Noble sale (bn.com) has been going for quite a while now but because “8 1/2”, “Che”, “Paris, Texas”, “Roberto Rossellini’s War Trilogy”, “Chantal Ackerman Eclipse Series” are coming out before this sale ends (and are not offered on the current deepdiscount.com sale)… perhaps you may want to take advantage of this sale if you plan to buy the new Blu-rays or DVD’s (Criterion or non-criterion).
Here is a 10% off code that was featured on gmail: B9R9X8D (not sure when it expires)
8 1/2 – $28.59 (with coupon, took off $3.20)
Che – $32.39 (with coupon, took off $7.60)
and you get free shipping (but pay your sales tax) and you get whatever 3rd purchase for free.
Tomorrow I am getting Time of the Wolf, McCabe and Mrs. Miller, and Portrait of Jennie. Next week I am getting Rossellini’s War Trilogy, Paris Texas, and an Eclipse set (Fuller or Akerman).
Could you link me the coupon?
The coupon is shown in the sponsored link above (if you have gmail). It shows – Get 10% off buy using this coupon on Barnes & Noble.
I want that Rosselini War Trilogy!!!!
Can I use it without gmail?
I’ve wanted to see Paisan for many many years (it was one of the first “foreign” films I ever wanted to see) so this set is a big thing for me.
It should work but I hope others give it a try… I’m glad this sale ends on Feb. 2nd….
OK…here are the latest coupons. If you are planning to spend over $100, the card pays for itself pretty much.

Barnes and Noble Coupons for Members:
I decided to wait on Akerman and the Rosselini War Trilogy because if the 50% off sale is indeed happening in March 2010, then I can wait a month. Akerman would be around $20 for members and the Rosselini War Trilogy would be around $30 not including the online coupon that may be available at that time.
But I did pick up 8 1/2 and Paris Texas…and I decided to get The General for my freebie for this sale.
With the 15% off coupon and membership:
8 1/2 – $24.47
Paris, Texas – $28.79
So, when you total the three Blu-rays (since you get the third-cheapest price for free, they pretty much come to around $18 each.
Sale ends on February 2nd.
