it’s gonna be amazin’.
How intense was Gus this episode? The man has no emotions. Breaking Bad is back!
Spoiler alert
Man I couldn’t believe he killed Victor. It might of been obvious, but that scene was just so tense I couldn’t even think.. I loved how there was no real explanation for it. It might have been because he was seen at the crime scene, but I think it was more just sending a message to Jesse and Walt, like Jesse pointed out at the end. This show is great.
Also, how humiliating was that scene with Hank and Marie? Hank has always had the best moral character out of anyone on the show, along with Skylar, and it seems like they are putting his character through the worst shit.
Can we talk about Breaking Bad now? Wow! Hermanos was a particularly amazing episode of a series that I stand by as being the best show of all time. Well, I guess that’s subjective, but man BB is making a good case for it. When Walter and Hank are in the parking lot of Los Pollos Hermanos and Mike pops up in the window of the car parked next to them, the comedic tension was as thick as I’ve seen on BB. The whole flashback scene was amazing, too. Although I hate when Gus speaks Spanish. His accent is deplorable.
Maybe next week.
I hope Schuyler finds a good place to hide the money, or better yet, a plan to launder it. She’s in a pickle.
Just watched seasons 1-3 on Netflix. Where online can I watch season 4 episodes?
nowhere legally that i’m aware of, AMC is a bunch of dumbasses about that.
p.s. uuuggghghhghh such a good goddamn show
Jack, try tvduck. I don’t think it’s illegal more like “less than legal.”
And let’s get some discussion going for the last few episodes of the season.
I get the feeling pretty soon Skyler is going to join the list of characters who want/wanted someone killed – could [- – -] be any more of an idiot?
The colors of Saul’s shirts are blowing my mind.
The last 10 minutes of Crawl Space might be the best 10 minutes I’ve seen on any screen this year.
^
great episode tonight
Two great back to back episodes, and neither for the faint of heart.
I have no idea who is responsible for Brock getting poisoned but I found Jesse’s assertion that it could be Walt to arguably have more weight to it when Walt gave that very amazing assertion it was Gus. I know Gus is cold-blooded and not someone to trust especially when people put stuff into their mouths, but there is something not quite right going on there- especially after Saul and Jesse had a ‘meeting’. Walt showed in the episode that he was willing to go to insane lengths to drop people eg the car bomb so I will not put it past him that he gave Brock something that would put Jesse in an emotional chokehold.
I also think Gus saw Walt on the roof based on the reflection of his glasses.
Either way it sets up a great finale and I have no idea who is going to die. I do hope Mike comes back after getting stuck in Mexico. He is the wild card and his loyalty to Gus is probably non-existent.
Episodes 10-12 have been phenomenal. It is far and away the best series currently on, and in my opinion, the best of all time. I’m already on the edge of my seat for tonight’s finale. Gus has to die, right? I hope Mike teams up with Jesse and Walt for the kill.
How’s Hank story line going to end? Is Ted going to factor into tonight’s episode? His death (or not death) hasn’t come up since it happened. I’d say it’s time for that to come back somehow.
(SPOILER)
Nice gif!
I’m in the middle of Season 3 right now—my wife and I have watched everything up to that in the past week, and it’s easily one of the best shows on TV.
What strikes me the most is the well-trimmed writing—almost no fat on this show from episode to episode, no meandering plot lines (Skylar’s sister’s shoplifting might be the one exception) or unnecessary characters, and when viewing this many episodes this quickly this point is really driven home.
It’s also cast extremely well. Cranston, man. Cranston.
We’ll finish S3 before the weekend, and can’t wait to get started on S4, which I am completely spoiler free for, although it was the noticeable buzz around the S4 finale that made me finally decide to get into this show.
So where I’m at in the show right now, the most interesting things are these:
- Jesse’s acceptance of being the Bad Guy
- Skylar’s seeming acceptance of Walt being in the home
- And obviously Walt’s decision to get back in business in his new lab
Also, I pour my 40 oz. on the lawn for many of the OPs in this thread who’ve since moved on.
Except for one. He’s unfortunately still around… every now and then…
While I await the DVD release of S4 so I can finally catch up, here’s wishing you all a Happy Holidays:

What are the Mubi rules on adding television shows to its database? I know they already have some but they are more like miniseries. But after the show ends next season it would be awesome if it was added. This show, The Wire, and Deadwood are the only TV shows I think match serious films in terms of quality. Had to post this, I can’t stop thinking about next season. Anyone know when it starts?
I hope it’s AFTER they release season four on DVD! I’m only up to the end of S3, and the wait is killing me!
I think they usually release the DVDs right before the next season comes out.
Warning about my this link: There doesn’t seem to be any spoilers beyond the second season finale, at least that I can see, but don’t take my word for it.
Funny site for Breaking Bad fans. I’m looking up everything I can to hold me over until next season.
STILL waiting for the DVD release of S4. The immense pressure of the wait has driven me into a meth addiction and I’ve had to kill my dealer (it’s complicated). At least I know not to dispose of the body in an upstairs bathtub.
yeah use a large plastic trashcan ^
i still haven’t finished season 2. i suck :(
I can’t think of this title without thinking of the expression “breaking wind.”
Sorry.
Aaaaahhhh heeelllll yeeaaahhhhh
The interviews I’ve heard with the cast and writers of the series gave me a good impression of it. However, it does seem like a downer—where the protagonist just gets into deeper trouble or constantly has to avoid getting caught. A terrific TV series could be made out of this, but this is the type of series that would be hard to watch for me.
Rock and Bull
I’m more looking forward to this than anything else this year.
