Why do you make commercials? For the money, or is it a chance for you to get yourself out there? How do you feel about commercialism in general?
You tend to be featured quite often on the Mike Judge/Don Hertzfeldt produced Animation Show which tours around something like every other year. Both producers, though featuring a wide range of animation within the show, are known themselves for low budget hand drawn animations, somewhat like yours, as well as both have managed some amount of commercial success and recognition on the unique stylings of that aesthetic (Judge for his white trash narratives and Hertzfeldt for his expressionist stick figures). Whereas this aesthetic seems to be developed from necessity, do you prefer to stick to it, or is it a matter of necessity? Would you like to create some bigger animated production in general, but have not ever had/been given the chance, or do you prefer to stick to the unique style you’ve developed for yourself as a matter of aesthetic choice?
Either way, what you do is amazing.
