No Gorin set… Belle du Jour will be nice to see… and I really dislike the cover for Godzilla… First of all, I think the Japanese title Gojira would have been better, and it’s just a bad cover overall… I think one of the comic book-style covers would have been way cooler.

Oh nevermind – there is a Gorin set… It wasn’t there when I checked a minute ago! Awesome!

I’ll get Gorin’s Three Popular Films. How the hell is it worse than December’s? It’s better… I was expecting Weekend but it should be coming sometime.

The Belle du jour cover (to me) resembles the quartet of Ophuls films.

I also think Gojira and a different cover would be nice.

Weekend probably won’t be out too soon. 2012, but not early. It’s just now doing a cinema tour. But my VHS copy needs to be replaced badly.

Criterion is touring Weekend so it will be in 2012 most likely.

Nancarrow…yes, I’ve seen all three and while Routine Pleasures has some interesting things in it, I find Gorin to be wildly condescending. If you’ve seen these films, you’ll know what I mean.

I really like that Belle du Jour cover… I just hope the Godzilla one gets changed!

And as far as Week End goes, don’t they normally wait for Janus to stop touring a film before they release the dvd? And World on a Wire was touring long before Week End but we still haven’t seen a dvd of that. I just hope Week End gets released in time for next year’s July sale!

I thought Studio Canal owned the rights to Belle De Jour?

Pretty ordinary month imo, but The Moment Of Truth looks interesting.

The Studio Canal Collection failed miserably and Belle de Jour was in that so………

The Deer Hunter was in that so maybe we will get that and Heaven’s Gate?

Oh really? In what way did the Studio Canal Collection fail? Did they just not sell very many?

I think it would be awesome if Criterion put out HEAVEN’S GATE…it would be interesting to see various versions and, yes, even some stuff that was LEFT OUT…

Does anybody know how Criterion decides which film will be re-released in Blu-ray? It sure would make my day if Mon oncle Antoine came out on Blu-ray.
