Damn, I’m sly! :)

Okay, so here’s the deal—unless it’s public domain we really can’t do this on the forum. Reasons being are twofold—First, it’s a surefire way to get the YT post removed, and second, if Mubi allows it to stay they are tacitly endorsing the illegal distribution of copyrighted material.

So, please remove them. PMs are good.

Whoops – sorry House! I thought it was okay – do you want to just moderate me since it’s too late for me to edit?

Thanks!

But I hope I won’t win this game, as I still want some of you reviewing my choice!

I hear you on that one, WBA! But I’m still gonna push myself to do as best I can.

House please remove Max’s embed on the Three Days thread. (I don’t think he can do it by now, too late to edit).

So, clear things up for me. In the previous rounds I thought everybody was free to vote whether or not they were participating in the game. Is it that, or is it Survivor-style voting?

Anyone could comment and let Odi know that they thought and if there was a tie in the vote, Odi would apply the opinions of non-participants to her tie-breaking vote. But the main vote itself was from the participants in the group.

Starting with the semifinal round, all former participants can vote in both semifinal matches, and all former participants can vote in the final.

Alright.

Probably inevitable given how people have been voting, but for Group 1, WBA is the winner (continuing on the course, WBA remains a favorite). For Group II, it was Dan (by default due to Konrad’s dropping out, but honestly his critique was much admired anyway). CONGRATS and you guys wrote wonderful critiques!

This is the movie I’m going to subject y’all to, because it’s not an easy movie and because it’s been discussed on Mubi within the last year and a half (and is kind of a Mubian movie), and because it is streaming on Netflix and easy to find:

Bresson’s Lancelot du Lac

I’ll create a separate thread for it. EVERYONE can vote for the FINALS! (except me, unless in the case of a tie)
