why thank you.
hmm
I just saw this film yesterday. I wasn’t expecting much so the experience became a real treat, specially on a boring Sunday afternoon. The film reminded me of classics like Mulholland Dr by Lynch and Persona by Bergman. That in itself could be considered an accomplishment, but the film has its own beauty. One thing that stood out for me was the pacing of the film itself, the way it just gives you enought to keep you wanting more yet satisfied at the same time. Guillermo del Toro once called his Pan’s Labirynth a “fairy tales for adults” and Black Swan certainly is a fairy tale for adults. I love the genre and the possibilities it allows.
