Hahaha…dang it. He got there before I did. Man, I would certainly make my appearance like that of Guido’s, my favorite film character (just before Antoine Doinel). At the very least, I plan to dress in awesome suits on set, and with awesome sunglasses to boot.

Thanks for the photos Law, they look even more similar on those!
Anybody ever wonder if Lynch and Malick knew each other at AFI? I mean, they’re both friends and collaborators with Jack Fisk and they were both there in the early 70’s.
WOW They do both look a lot a like. Lynch doesn’t wear a ti,e and combs his hair in the other direction, but aside from those 2 things it’s really uncanny.
I wish my hair would do that. Fuck it, I’m just going to shave it.
LOL this is too funny!
Michael,
Yes, Lynch and Malick were class mates, they were the first to go to the newly opened AFI, back in the days.
Although it probably wasn’t like this I have this image in my head of Terrence Malick and David Lynch sitting next to each other not paying attention in class. One is looking out the window and admiring the beautiful scenery while the other is daydreaming away in his own little world. haha
Also, I’ve asked this before, but if you think I went to my barber and said “I want the David Lynch” he would know what I’m talking about?
User, why don’t you just bring a photo of Lynch to the barber shop? I’m sure you could find a good photo of him someone on the internet.
It’s probably not that hard to do it and it migh look dumb on some guys other than Mr.Lynch himself eheh

Hey, I just saw 8½ today after reading somewhere that this is one of Lynch favourite films of all time, glad I did it, it’s brilliant.
Am I the only one who noticed that David Lynch wears and looks a lot like the main character of 8½, Guido Anselmi portrayed Marcello Mastroianni? They both use a very similar haircut, clothes and they both smoke. Maybe it’s just a coincidence but I think Lynch really based his real looks by this film.
We can also see many things on Lynch films that remembers the whole 8½ aesthetics but I’m sure that has already been discussed.
