Did anyone else notice this just went up on IMDB and wikipedia. David Lynch is directing what is said to be a CGI animated film. here’s the link;

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1104816/

Anyone know anything about this? Any thoughts on what David Lynch is CGI would look like?

I’m sold, without even knowing what it’s about. Save for Dune, Lynch has done nothing wrong in my eyes.

Dune, Wild at Heart, and, more topically to the conversation, Dumbland all kinda suck. Snootworld, eh? What the hey, we’ll see…

Well, it’s safe to say that this will probably be Lynch’s surrealism at it’s most uninhibited. Working in CGI the budget of the film won’t really be an issue. Although I am curious to see it because Lynch didn’t write this script himself- Caroline Thompson did, a first (correct me if I’m wrong). Maybe it will be a little easier to understand.

No, they’ve never worked together. Caroline is “weird” in her own sense, so I’m hopeful.

What, no crowing about how awful this sellout children’s flick is going to be?

Wild At Heart is an absolutely tremendous film. Can you guys post links to the source of the info you have on this title. I don’t have imdb pro, so I need to get my Lynch fix some other way.

Wild At Heart is one of the best films he’s done, no doubt about it.
