I guess the “Such and such film is terrible” has became a trend now… A little annoying.
But nevertheless I sort of agree. It LOOKED great but other than that…the story was really lacking. Well, the story itself was fine but the way it was done…I don’t know it almost seemed amateurish. The one powerful and amazing scene is where the field is ablaze in the night…It’s probably worth a watch just for that.
All in all I think it’s a completely inferior film to the wonderful Thin Red Line. Days of Heaven seems like a home movie compared to that.

I’m not entirely convinced the OP actually disliked Days Of Heaven. Or maybe he does, but even if he does he decided to create this topic before choosing the movie to hate. He’s trying to express his annoyance at us for the backlash he got in the other, similar threads.
This thread isn’t about Days of Heaven, it’s strictly a ‘Be a dick’ thread.
