Theme: Burn Hollywood, Burn

Presuming that I’ve got access to the projection room and the reels themselves,
my cinematheque exhibition is as follows:

Cut-up and splice the following films together randomly, break them into 5 reels and replace the soundtracks with the screaming of eviscerated pigs in an abattoir, the sound of nails scratching down a blackboard, and the grunting of porn actors.

1. Rocky IV
2. Charlie’s Angels
3. Body Double
4. When Harry met Sally
5. American Pie

In all cases, in the last few minutes put fingers directly onto the reel in the projector and slow the feed until the machine chokes and the cells begin to burn out.

Then show

6. Titanic

Nothing needs to be done to this film, the horror is already unspeakable.
