Generally yes, if they were born before or around the same time as me… which is happening more and more I find. I’m way younger than 99% of directors, but a fair amount of actors were born post-1988. It’s the classic Julius Caesar crying in front of the statue of Alexander syndrome. “He conquored the world when he was half my age!”
…don’t fear. Contrary to what some would have you believe, there is no “set path.” It’s not like you’re guaranteed to become president if you achieve a certain GPA at Harvard.
