i’ve had mixed reactions to Jeunet’s eccentricities, but anyway this sounds quite interesting, though the title isn’t the easiest to translate, something like loads of confusing/intriguing things i gather; not words i’ve ever needed to use, no doubt Ali here would come up with the right title in English.
well, I really liked Amélie and Delicatessen that were both so dark and light at the same time…., and the teaser for this os good, too. So I am eager to see it…
I saw it a couple of weeks back (it’s in cinemas in Paris). It’s very very Jeunet – full off quirky eccentricities, perhaps at the expense of story sometimes – but enjoyable. You feel a bit like you’re watching a kids movie. It lacks the darkness of Delicatessen and was overall just a bit too kooky for me. But I still say check it out.

uh oh…
haha isn’t this thread about the DVD release and not what you thought of the movie?
man, i’ve been googling and it seems like no one has any info on whether this is coming to the States or not, whether in theatres or on DVD.
Yes, I am interested in the DVD lol since I know it probably won’t make it to a theater near me. SInce I loved Jeunet in both Delicatessen and Amelie, I am going to see it, no matter what. I guess we’ll find out sooner or later when that is to be…

Does anyone know when it’s going to be released?
