Updating my own topic…
Event organizer Michael McCarthy has announced five other shorts that will be playing with ‘The Glitch’ on June 1: a UFO thriller ‘The Empire Lights’ by Daniel Gonzales, a quirky Super 8 drama ‘Coal’ by Andrew Lewis, a romantic thriller ‘Love in the Afternoon’ by Hendrik De Smet & Olya Milova, a ghost story ‘Calvin’ by Thomas Reiten, and a fast-talking comedy ‘The Hollywood Sign’ by John Charter. It looks like ‘The Glitch’ might be first up.
And the Glitch Trivia Giveaway question: What does Harry first say to himself in his bathroom? The first three folks to recite the line to Scott or me at the event will get one of these.
Okay, no more Spam from me, I promise. But thanks for reading.
Flashfilms
For anyone in the Los Angeles area, June 1, my MUBI | Garage short “The Glitch” will be playing at this fun venue, where we will be one of six short films screening as part of El Cid Short Film Night. The event organizer has asked me to self-promote, so here is a link to my Flashfilms flier. I’d love to meet any other MUBI-ites, so please introduce yourself if you come along ($8 cover).
We will be having a Glitch Trivia Giveaway, offering free Glitch posters and Glitch special features DVDs to folks who can answer a question about our movie and, more importantly, there is a full bar.
Event opens 8PM, films start rolling 9PM.
