Oh and I guess for Inland Empire there’s also this:

All the characters wear rabbit heads in Rabbits.
Urm . . .
lol it’s been a loooong time since I saw Lost Highway, and I actually haven’t seen Wild at Heart….
I wouldn’t bother with Wild at Heart, it’s godawful.

Don’t worry, DFFOO, I wanted to ask the same question, but I felt my credibility was on thin ice based on another thread, so I was too chicken to ask. ;)
@DiB
I don’t remember the amnesiac in MD. Refresh my memory.
“I don’t remember the amnesiac in MD. Refresh my memory.”
Rita, played by Laura Harring.

“I don’t remember the amnesiac in MD. Refresh my memory.”
I think that was a joke… right? You know… amnesiac… memory…….
When does the scene occur? (Do we even seen the car accident?…does this happen at the beginning of the film? Do we see her hitting her head? My memory is hazy.
Well I’m going to go ahead and treat it as if it isn’t a joke.
Jazz, the movie opens with a car flying up Mulholland Drive until it crashes. We don’t know any of the characters but then Laura Harring appears and wanders toward the city. She hides in the bushes to sleep overnight and then we get the introduction of Laura Dern’s character Betty. Betty goes to her apartment and meets Rita. The two begin to investigate Rita’s past. It’s basically the entire point of the movie, even after it gets revealed that this whole detective narrative is a construction of Diane’s own tension/attraction/envy/whathaveyou of Rita.

There’s even that humanoid Guild Navigator in DUNE, the one who seems to have just started the process of metamorphosis, with his head starting to split at the top.
And assorted attendants of Baron Harkonnen who have their lips, eyes and ears sewn shut.
OK, got it….the head disfigurement seems a bit tenuous, though.
Laura Seen wasn’t in MD , DiB. Naomi Watts, holmes.
“Laura Seen wasn’t in MD , DiB. Naomi Watts, holmes.”
……?
OH! Naomi Watts, not Laura Dern. Yeah, that’s actually what I meant, I think the Laura Harring crossed my memory signals. Then the Laura Seen thing just confused me and I thought you were saying Laura Harring wasn’t in MD, Watts was, at which point I was going to start yelling about people here either pranking me or losing their minds.
Yeah, amend the above to " She hides in the bushes to sleep overnight and then we get the introduction of NAOMO WATT’s character Betty."
There we go. Whew, that confusion was almost
sunglasses
Lynchian.

Sigh…
*Naomi
Not Naomo.
And I’m in Firefox so I can’t amend it. …..
Sigh….
