ALL: Please reserve this thread for updates/comments on the progress of our IndieGoGo Campaign ONLY

This is our final thread regarding contributions to our Ergodic Cinema Project IndieGoGo Campaign.

As of yesterday we have made only $374.00 out of the $10,000 we are aiming for by the end of the campaign, on JULY 31st.

PLEASE, please consider contributing OR if you cannot, share this campaign with anyone you think might be interested in contributing.

Mubians — this project was born on the Mubi Forum threads and is made up completely of members of Mubi and Garage. When it is completed, it will be available on Mubi and you will be able to participate in the story line when you watch it! Here’s how that would work:

So once again, support your fellow Mubians and please, contribute to our wonderful and playful project!

7 days left….! If you haven’t already, give us a hand, dear Mubians!

Here is our director PolarisDiB in his own words about the production of his segment His Conception.

ONLY FIVE days left of our campaign, everyone! Please consider donating, if you haven’t already!

And, just as a status update, I’ve finally finished filming my script. Now time to put all 6 clips together and make a cohesive, 20 minute movie. Looking forward to it!

16 hours left! A generous donor is taking a chance with us, she just donated another $100 — won’t you take a chance with us too? Please throw a few bucks our way, Mubians! Or share our link with friends who might be interested in doing so!

In Rio we’d throw a party. Sell cold beer, cheap whiskey with rebull, screen some shorts plus rare films of any format or style… and shake our butts from midnight till dawn. I’m sorry to notice the donations did not add even 10% of what we asked for. In time: for a fund raising party of ours, I could also volunterr to sing, but I think if some of the young handsome Ergodic guys would agree to do a strip fight, or something weirder, for people to bet on them, donations would escalate! Well, I just wanted to make ODILONVERT laugh. Let’s see what else comes ahead, after we recover from today. Love! DAN

Hey Dan! Good to hear from you!

Lol, I’m one year older than you, I noticed (and THE oldest person on our team therefore, yikes), so I had to laugh at the prospect of us old mamas looking like “cougars” when you talk about taking advantage of our young, handsome Ergodic boy-friends that way… !

Yes, the campaign, though a month long, was tough — but I notice we have one benefactor who actually donated $200 to us, and that is nice to see — a person we do not know throwing money at unknowns like us (well I’ll speak for myself, anyway).

We should meet soon to discuss how to help you get your film funded, exactly as you need to get it funded.

I just finished Letters and am planning on writing a production note for it this week, and I am thinking of your script and how it relates to my segment all the time.
