That would be super!
So… let’s all decide on a time:
I’m going to be out of the house all day on Saturday. Will be around at night.
Tremolo prefers day.
Bobby can’t do it at 11 am PST on Sunday.
I work during the day during the week, and am generally not available till about 9:30/10 pm PST.
What works for everyone?
Well, let’s see.
You’re going by PST. I’m on EST, I’m guessing that you(Odi) are about 3 hours behind. So I just need to remember the time for here and I’m set.
Any time works for me, I’m here all summer basically.
I am fine with night on a weekend.
How about Friday night or Saturday night?…
Yes, Dylan — 3 hours behind you.
So, it’s tinychat that I need to look at?
Yes, sign up to tinychat. I am fine with friday or saturday. My tinychat username is: tremolo
Friday then? Is 9:30 pm PST too late?… Saturday I could probably do it a little earlier, but that time is definitely “safe” (kids are in bed).
Sorry my hours are so much later… hope you guys aren’t early birds (I’m certainly not)…
Simply letting everyone know, that my idea has slightly changed.
As stated, I feel as if having Bible verses on the doors is too like Roboko’s, and have been trying to figure out a way to change it. Thanks to my friend, I have that answer- tarot cards. Each door will represent a different tarot card.
This change will be in the script, and I think it makes for a much more satisfying conclusion.
Cool! You know I know how to read them, so I’ll be looking at your script closely… ;)
Tell me whether you can meet Friday or Saturday night?…
P.S. — I very much like how Agnes Varda used tarot in Cleo, my favorite movie of hers so far (though not only because of the tarot!).
I’m sort of tempted to use this as a reference point.
Do it!
The first time someone read Tarot for me was when I was about 20/21 or so. A friend did it for me after work one summer, and the card I chose to represent me was The Page of Cups. (though I think she gave me The Page of Coins instead). I still like this card very much, though per my sign, I’m supposed to be The Queen of Swords by this point in my life. The Tower card is probably the most scary card in the deck for me. My favorite card is probably The High Priestess.

Now I don’t feel like it…..
Ha! It’s not witchcraft, at least to me, it’s just an aid in meditation.
This one I like too, The Chariot (I have this deck by the way, it’s one of the oldest European decks, the cards are HUGE):

Odi, I did not know you knew how to read them, but that is awesome.
Friday, 9:30pm (PST), correct? If so, then, yes, that works for me. I usual don’t go to bed until after 2am (EST) so, I’m for it.
Also, any specific decks you recommend that I should buy?
Friday (tomorrow) at 9:30 pm PST for the tinychat test drive ok for everyone then — Tremolo, Dylan?
Not a lot of people know that I read them (though now the whole world will, lol). I read them for people now and then but mostly I pull them out for me when I’m in the mood. They’ve often been used for fortune telling, but as I don’t think anyone can really do that unless they are psychic, I like to think of them as an opportunity to meditate a little more deeply on a current situation on your mind. After a while you start to have your own associations with the cards and that makes interpreting more personal and interesting when combined with how they’ve been interpreted historically. Tarot cards have been around for thousands of years. I liked the deck above because it is beautiful to look at, you can tell that some of the original cards were even gilded.
Hmmm. Decks are a personal thing. I recommend you go buy one in person, the artwork is really important because that’s what inspires you creatively, or it does me anyway. Does your friend who suggested this read them? Well anyway if you are going to learn about what they mean, there are lots of different books out there that do interpretation in ways that relate but also build on the original meanings. There is also a lot of information on the internet, where you can also buy cards and books. But I always like to see the cards “in person” because it is hard to tell whether the colors are true on the internet.
It’s really very much a visual experience that leads to storytelling, ultimately. Good for the creative juices. :)
I think that’s alright. Be about 12:30am here, I’m just going to need to remember..
Cool, Tremolo? This date and time OK for you?
Um, it appears that Kate has left Mubi. No word on why or whether she is going to come back to continue to participate in the project.
Sigh…
I’ve run into her on Gmail chat a few times, if that happens again I’ll talk to her. She was useful help and I hope to keep her involved, but at least she did not have a segment she ran away with.
Guys, it’s not really a great idea to alienate ourselves from Mubi forums and members. I need to acknowledge that for myself as well as regards some of my own behavior. If Mubites start frustrating you, it’s probably better to use that energy on… THIS PROJECT! … than arguing with each other. Unity!

Ok, I’ll try to be a little more participative on the forum here…
Totally. I’m disappointed but it seems, DiB, that these things happen a lot with projects (as you confided with much wisdom to me long ago) and well, I guess I have to learn to expect these sudden departures and be ready to fill in the empty spots without much more thought. I.e., learn to be callous.
IF anyone else wants to help me with Production Notes in the future, please do volunteer.
As it stands now, I will try to make them a monthly event.
As Charlie Brown says when he misses Lucy’s football and flies up in the air only to hit the ground flat on his back, AAAAAAAAAARRGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!
If anybody on this project is having just general frustrations with either the project, or the site, or even just in real life and unrelated, please PM me to get it off your chest. I’m willing to listen and little of those frustrations really need to be vented publicly in the long run. Most of the time they just need to be vented.

Double post.
—DiB
DiB, your post reminds me of the director and his relationship with his main actress in “Opening Night.” I guess that comes with the job…
One has to admire directors. Outside of the artistic side of things, they need therapist skills too. It is an additional burden, but it comes with the territory. Leaders end up playing parental roles in a sense.
Shaking my head…
We all need to have a big mid-production party to let off steam…
Yeah, I am fine with the Friday time slot. It should be fun.
YAY!
OK so…
Tremolo, Bobby, Dylan, myself: tinychat tomorrow (Friday) at 9:30 PST!
I’m going to sign up tonight, will make my username odilonvert but will let y’all know if for some reason it can’t be that.
Tremolo’s user name is: tremolo
Please post your user names here before we actually chat! Looking forward to testing this!
colorizedmess be my user name.
Dylan Ibrahim
I might go with the test drive…. I feel like I need to be more involved, considering how slow today has been for me.
