If you liked Tetsuo: Iron Man, then there are a number of other Japanese Cyberpunk films you might dig. Aside from Tetsuo, I haven’t really seen any of these films (I try to keep my body horror viewing to a minimum :), but I’ve seen clips of 964 Pinnochio, and that seemed to fit the bill. Here’s an article that goes into much more depth than the Wikipedia article: Post-Human Nightmares: The World of Japanese Cyberpunk Cinema

As it also notes, there’s a lot of anime that deals with this sort of anything, but I know very little about anime

Thanks! By industrial I especially mean the industrial culture developed during the 80’s. It doesn’t necessarily have to do with sci-fi. But, yes, Metropolis and Antonioni’s Red Desert fit in the category.

I’ve been watching The Wire again lately. And while you won’t be able to link it up on your list since its a TV show, there’s a lot of good shots/scenes from the second season. which is based in/around the ports of Baltimore.

Also check out Tie Xi Qu , which I found out about from the MUBI Top 20 list , and have only just started watching (it’s in 3 parts, each part about 3 hours long)
