The Toxic Avenger, again.

Recently, I’d say TWILIGHT. I know, it’s a total teenage chick flick and I’m sure some people in the theatre were annoyed with my uncontrollable laughter.

Another contender would be SHOWGIRLS. It’s a trainwreck of a movie and painful to watch at times but it sure does stick with you.

Friends give me a hard time because I liked Vertical Limit. I know it is a silly movie, but I enjoy it.

The two Star Wars Ewok movies, Superman 3 + 4, and i thought Alex and Emma (the chick flick) was surprisingly funny.

I third Gymkata. YAKMALA!

Also, Slumber Party Massacre II is pretty brilliant. I mean, with an Elvis-impersonating guitar/drill-wielding villain, how can it not be? (Admittedly, I haven’t seen the film to which this is apparently a sequel, though I trust it’s also quality entertainment.)

Although being a huge fan of plenty of bad movies, most recently it had to be the re-make of DEATH RACE which made me laugh so much that I really enjoyed the experience.

Would you include beautifully kitschy movies like “She” with Helen Gahagan Douglas and Randolph Scott, or “The Garden Of Allah” with Marlene Dietrich and Charles Boyer in this group of “so bad it’s good?” There definitely is some kind of artistry in them and they are more memorable than better movies, I think.

This fits the bill for me “Two Thousand Maniacs! (1964)”

I wouldn’t, mostly because they aren’t bad, they’re just not very good.
In fact I’m seeing a lot of films here that simple aren’t quite as good as they ought to be.
When I things films-so-bad-they’re-good, I think THE GIANT CLAW (previously cited), the Newfield/Neufeld PRC horror films and the Lugosi/Katzman/Banner-Monograms.

Yes! Yakmala! “Gymkata” has so many classic, golden quotes. I would watch the movie just for that reason alone

Hardly a bad movie. It’s a very funny one … and INTENTIONALLY.

Aw come on, I loved “Paranoid Park” on it’s own, thought it was a really great, atmospheric movie

How can I resist the charms of Arnold and DeVito in Twins? I’ll admit that if I’m channel surfing and it’s on, I have to watch for at least a little bit.
