Yesterday, I watched TCM’s airing of “Horse Feathers”, which they broadcast as the clocked turned 12, so the first full film from start to finish I watched was “Swing Time”, which they had on at 8:30 AM. Then, I watched “The Grapes of Wrath”, which I picked up the day before.

Gainsbourg. It was alright but a bit disappointing considering the subject. The France Gall scene could have been great but for some reason they changed some facts around to make it way less interesting. Normally it’s the other way around but whatever.

then Fantastic Mr. Fox. Then Ninja Assassin (I was on drugs), then Somewhere today. (I wanted to see Blue Valentine but it was sold out, so I’ll see that tomorrow morning along with Biutiful.)

In the theater: Saw Little Fockers last night. Meh. Luckily it was free, my fiance and I used a gift card to see it. Next will most likely be The Green Hornet, which I’m looking forward to.

At home: I’m about to pop in Superbad for the hell of it.

Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland.

A rather horrid way to start a new year.
