Pretty cool. Nice work!

I always wonder how a film will end and of course we end in Canis Major with Sirius, the dog star, at the center.
Nice job !
I especially liked 2:51-2:57, best use of the video’s style of animation, in my opinion (though the opening was very pretty, too). The story was heartwarming. Was that his actual dog?
Thanks for the replies!
A Smith,
I created the entire video chronologically, and I def. learned a few things as I went along. Most of my animation is Motion based using single frame cells, as my skills are more of a compositor than an actual animator. I knew I wanted to challenge myself and do at least 1 or 2 shots where I’m actually animating character movement frame by frame. So the running shot (2:51-2:57) was that challenge. And obviously mixing in the handheld style tends to make the shot the most dynamic in the piece.
and yes, the Dog was modeled after the dog of the Artist ( Alphanaut) who had passed away. The song and by extension video, is an ode to him.
