Here’s another Un Chien Andalou homage
Sorry for not adding anything to the discussion.
hmm interesting, the one you posted above is fairly cheesy and what I dont like about it is the fact that its TRYING to be too direct, what I like about the music video I posted is that its surreal/creative in its own way but has hidden homages that encompass and support the artistic application.
Hella isn’t really about being hidden. It’s about hitting you in the face with a truncheon (musically speaking), but I don’t like them after The Devil isn’t Red. So, I wouldn’t argue for them here.
The video you posted is better, but I just knew about this one too, and thought it might interest someone.
There’s also a Tarkovsky influence/reference in there.

Hey, I recently watched a music video for Steven Wilson’s “Harmony Korine” directed by Lasse Hoile. I saw so many homages to Luis Buñuels, “Un Chien Andalou.” I thought it was quite interesting and wanted to point it out for all to see here, also interestingly enough we could also start a discussion about Harmony Korine, who is obviously a pretty controversial upriser.
You Can Check Out The Music Video Here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BClzBQmZZBc (I suggest watching it in HD)
