I’m sure some of you have noticed that posting to long threads is often painfully slow, often leading to a double comment when you are forced to try resubmitting.
The cause of this is inefficiency in the email notification system, which becomes critical on threads that have hundreds or thousands of participants. We’ve disabled the forum notifications until we can resolve this (a few days probably) so that posting should be easier in such threads.
