Anyone a fan of his?

I just realized that someone wrote a bokk about his work and it seems like it was only yesterday that he began his career as a film director. I know not all his films are great but Swimming pool, 8 women, A time to leave, and Angel are all well done.

I saw 5X2 awhile back and it was absolutely heartbreaking. It was beautifully done, but I would never watch it again. I haven’t seen anything else.

5×2, Swimming Pool, 8 women, Criminal Lovers, etc. Great stuff. I love Time to Leave as well and will watch anything by him. I think his recent work, Angel was so bad. I hope he goes back to making French films. Romola Garai was supposed to be his muse, but I hope he works with Ludivine Sagnier again.

I haven’t seen enough of his movies to have a solid opinion but his short Truth or Dare (Action Vérité) is very good.

I love Ozon. He has impeccable taste. Anyone who adores Charlotte Rampling and creates such great meaty roles for an actress of her age is jake with me.

He’s quite fascinating character. And in the flesh ONE FABULOUS BABE!

Extremely prolific he has yet to make his masterpiece. He will in time. But all his films are worth seeing. My faves: “Under the Sand” and “Time to Leave.”

“8 Women” is great fun.

Terrific for sure and such incredible range. I’d throw in To See the Sea as a film that is really disturbing and haunting.

I found Water Drops on Burning Rocks to be Almodovar-esque and very interesting, if not altogether successful. Fassbinder’s input is apparent and helps to create a bizarre sexual romp/tragi-comedy that is worth checking out if only for the sheer wackiness of it.
