Hi all
I’m new to theauteurs, and maybe i’m making a complete fool of myself here, but i wonder why i can only watch some 20 films or so, and why there are no free watches (as promised in the video introduction)?

Btw, love the library content, so many brilliant films in there – wish I could watch them! ;-)

a) I thought someone was giving out free watches…you know, the kind that tell time. I was sadly mistaken.
b) The Auteurs’ movie selection is so small because, well, it just started! They’re slowly building the collection, which will take some time because the rights need to be secured before they can be shown online. They’re workin’ on it!
c) The Auteurs sponsors a festival of sorts that highlights a few movies you can watch for free. This selection changes from month to month, and each festival consists of about 6 movies. The rest of the library can be watched for $2-$5 per movie. As far as you claiming “there are no free watches,” maybe there is a problem with your account or your browser…I just went to the library and had 6 movies available for free viewing (ex: Divorce Italian Style). If you go to the library and there are no freebies, I’d contact a site coordinator or something and see if you can get it straightened out.

Btw, WELCOME!

Further to my message above – I ‘ll add the tip: scroll down to see Forum box on my page, click “see all” above entries showing. You’ll learn about the thematic selelction available via Criterion Collection (referenced by Ron above). Limited access, depending on where you live.
