Expect, about 40% of the way through, one of the unexpectedly brutal scenes I’ve ever seen.
I haven’t seen it (though I do own it), expect Tatsuya Nakadai to dominate another performance.
Very good movie, the finale in this one is awesome.

This films looks amazing, I just got it in the mail today. The only other Kobayashi I’ve seen is Kwaidan; are they similar films? What should I expect?
